During its transformation, this one began to resemble a wave breaking onto a sunlit shore. Bands of vivid turquoise verdigris gathered along the lower edge while warm copper and golden tones emerged above, creating the impression of surf meeting sand beneath a bright coastal sky.

The Copperologist was reminded of coastlines where sea, weather and time are constantly reshaping the landscape. Places where every incoming wave leaves a slightly different pattern behind. Like all worthwhile discoveries, the effect was entirely unplanned. Chemistry, heat, patience and chance collaborated to create something that could never be recreated exactly.

This one-of-a-kind copper art necklace was preserved at precisely the right moment, before the surface continued its transformation and became something else entirely.
